For the first time in several years, East had district qualifiers for the diving competition. Mitchell Goldman, Jack Hackett, and Rachel Laraio all qualified this season and competed this past weekend at North Penn HS. Goldman finished 13th with a score of 339.95 (narrowly missing the 11 dive school record from 2017), while senior Hackett finished his high school diving career with a 16th place finish and a score of 324.40. Rachel finished 15th in the girl's competition with a score of 314.15.
The East swimmers will be competing in the District 1 meet Friday and Saturday, Feb 25-26th at the York YMCA. The girl's and boy's 200 medley and 200 free relay teams have all qualified for the meet as have individual swimmers Gabe Carroll (50 and 100 free), Alexa Fulton (50 and 100 free), Cady Kiebort (100 fly), and Victoria Maki (100 and 200 free).
